JERSEY MARATHON BUS ROUTE DIVERSIONS: SUNDAY 2 OCTOBER 2011

DIVERSION TO EASTBOUND BUSES AND ROUTES 9, 15, 26A AND 26B

Connex Transport Jersey Ltd would like to advise all passengers of diversions to the above routes on Sunday 2 October 2011 as a result of the Jersey Marathon.

Between 0830 and 1130 only, Mulcaster Street will be closed. On their return journeys, all eastbound buses will terminate at The Limes bus stop (just before the tunnel) and come through the Tunnel and the Esplanade to Liberation Station. The outward journeys are unaffected.

Owing to the closure of St Aubin's Inner Road, the 0830 route 15 departure and 0930 route 9 departure will travel as normal on their outward journeys but on their return routes, will divert down Rue de Galet and along Victoria Avenue before resuming their normal routes at First Tower.

Between 0830 and 1130, Broad Street will also be closed so no trips between these times will be able to access Broad Street.

The routes 26a (1000 and 1200) and 26b (1045) will be unable to access St Ouen's Parish Hall and will instead turn at The Farmers' Inn before resuming their normal routes. The route 9 is unaffected by this diversion.

DIVERSION TO ROUTE 4: THURSDAY 14 JULY 2011

Connex Transport Jersey Ltd would like to advise all passengers of the following diversion to the Mybus route 4 on Thursday 14 July 2011 owing to the Bouley Bay Hill Climb.

As the hill will be closed on this day, the buses will be unable to go down to Bouley Bay and will therefore stop at Bouley Bay Apartments.

ROUTE 21 DIVERSION: FROM 14 MARCH 2011

CONNEX Transport Jersey Ltd would like to advise all passengers of the following diversion to the route 21 from Monday 14 March 2011.

For approximately 10 days, owing to road closures at Victoria Village, the route 21 will travel up Le Mont de la Rosiere as normal and will then turn right into La Rue du Ponterrin towards the usual terminus.

The bus will serve all stops as normal but may be slightly later than usual arriving at Victoria Village.

ROUTE 18 DIVERSION STARTS 10 JANUARY 2011

Connex Transport Jersey Ltd would like to advise all passengers of a diversion to the route 18.
From Monday 10 January 2011 for approximately 2 weeks, Marina Avenue and Le Squez Road will be closed so there will be no bus services along these roads for the duration of the roadworks. On the outward journeys, buses will travel via School Road to Le Marais. Inward journeys will not be affected.

DIVERSIONS TO ROUTES 8, 9, 12, 12A, 15, 25 & 27: 22nd November - 30th November 2010

Connex Transport Jersey Ltd would like to advise all passengers of temporary changes to the above routes owing to the closure of the eastbound carriageway on the Esplanade.

From Monday 22 November to Tuesday 30 November inclusive, all routes coming into town from the west of the Island will be unable to access Conway Street and Broad Street.

Passengers can alight outside the Channel Island Tyre Centre on the Esplanade. On request, buses will then turn right into Castle Street and travel around Liberty Wharf and rejoin the Espanade from the slip road by Liberation Square. Any passengers requesting this service wil be dropped off at Liberation Station.

The routes 25 and 19 will serve the Post Office stop in Broad Street as normal.

DIVERSION TO myEXPLORER YELLOW ROUTE: 30 AUG 2010

Connex Transport Jersey Ltd would like to advise all passengers of a diversion to the myExplorer yellow route on bank holiday Monday 30 August 2010 owing to the Bouley Bay Hill Climb.

As the hill will be closed on this day, buses will be unable to go down to Bouley Bay and will therefore stop at Bouley Bay Apartments on their outward journeys. The inward journeys will be unaffected.
